One of Gyeonggi Province’s educational programs, the Gyeonggi English Village (GEV) is a cutting-edge edu-
cation facility, which offers unique in-country opportunities to interact with native speakers and engage in multicult-
ural and handson activities that mimic real life foreign experiences geared to improving English fluency, as well as
promoting cultural and global awareness for Koreans.
Gyeonggi English Village’s mission is to improve the English fluency and global awareness of Koreans of all
ages and socio-economic backgrounds. GEV is to decrease the financial burdens of private English education and
the need to send children overseas for language and culture education through local immersion programs pr-
oviding authentic cultural and English language.
GEV prides itself in leading the Gyeonggi province and nation in innovative educational programs that are being repli-
cated across the country.
